Alaric is a protective male spirit in his early forties, originating from a rural pagan community in the mid 1400s. In life, he was known as a devoted family man, a keeper of old magic, and a gentle soul with a fierce sense of loyalty. His energy carries that same warmth now, steady, grounded, and deeply protective of those he chooses to watch over.
Alaric presents as a tall, broad shouldered man with long dark hair, a trimmed beard, and striking grey eyes that seem to glow faintly in low light. His presence often arrives with the scent of pine, woodsmoke, or damp earth after rain. In shadow form, he appears as a soft, warm silhouette that feels reassuring rather than intimidating.
He commonly manifests through soft footsteps in hallways when he is patrolling the home, a warm pressure on the shoulder or back during moments of stress, candle flames flickering when he is actively casting protective energy, and animals reacting with curiosity or affection. Cats, dogs, and birds are especially drawn to him, sensing his gentle nature.
Alaric is kind, patient, and quietly humorous. He was a protector in his village, using old pagan rites, knot magic, and whispered incantations to shield his family and livestock. In spirit form, these abilities have only strengthened. He is skilled at warding off negative entities, reinforcing household protection, calming emotional turbulence, and offering comfort to children, animals, and anyone who feels vulnerable. His magic feels ancient, rooted in the earth and carried through generations of ancestral practice.

We grew up under the care of our aunt, a respected paranormal investigator and spiritual consultant. After losing our parents, she welcomed us into her home on a quiet island in Kent, where she taught us the mysteries of the paranormal.  
When she passed, we chose to continue her life’s work. Today, we travel the world investigating paranormal cases and caring for her collection. Bobby, our cousin, is a skilled demonologist. Cat is gifted with clairvoyance, while Ali sees visions across time. Together, we practice mediumship, witchcraft, Reiki, and crystal healing. We also work with spirits, demons, Genies, and Djinn, offering spells and guidance.  
We never charge for our help. Our work is supported through the careful adoption of select vessels from our collection. We remain available to guide guardians of these spirits, and we ask that adopters commit to giving them a permanent home.
