This is Coraline.
She has been part of our coven since our aunt brought her home in 1984, though her vessel is far older than that. The name Caroline belonged to the girl who died in the house in the 1950s, but our aunt always insisted that whatever clings to this doll is not the girl, not Coraline, and not anything that ever walked this earth in human form. It is older. It is darker. It comes from a realm she refused to describe.
Before she passed, our aunt warned Bobby never to give the entity permission to leave the vessel. It has been waiting for decades, studying us, mimicking us, trying to gain trust. It wants a new form, a human form, and it is patient enough to wait for someone careless enough to offer it.

The activity around Coraline has intensified over the years. The entity often appears as a shifting black mass, thick as smoke yet heavy enough to bend the air around it. Sometimes it stretches into long, spindly fingers that scrape across the walls. Other times a face forms within the darkness, a face that looks almost human until it moves, and then you realise it is only imitating what it thinks a face should be.
Its voice is the most disturbing part. It tries to sound human, but there is always something wrong in the tone, as though the sound is being pushed through a throat that does not exist. It has used our voices against us more times than we can count. Ali has heard Cat calling her from outside the museum late at night, only to step out and find no one there. The silence always comes first, then the laugh, low, distorted, and delighted by her fear. Ali’s faith has protected her, but even she admits the entity watches her with a kind of hunger.
There have been nights when the temperature in the room drops so suddenly that our breath fogs in the air. Shadows move behind the doll even when no one is near her. Objects shift across tables. Lights flicker in patterns that feel intentional, almost like a language. More than one visitor has reported dreaming of the entity standing at the foot of their bed, its form clearer in sleep than it ever is in waking life. We grew up under the care of our aunt, a respected paranormal investigator and spiritual consultant. After losing our parents, she welcomed us into her home on a quiet island in Kent, where she taught us the mysteries of the paranormal.

We also work with spirits, demons, Genies, and Djinn, offering spells and guidance.  
We never charge for our help. Our work is supported through the careful adoption of select vessels from our collection. We remain available to guide guardians of these spirits, and we ask that adopters commit to giving them a permanent home.
