Kaya was a quiet six year old girl who spent most of her time indoors. Her grandmother gave her this doll
Kaya didn’t talk much. She mostly hummed soft little tunes and copied the way people spoke or moved. It was her way of learning, and it made her seem a bit unusual to those around her.
One winter night, the house grew very cold. Kaya and her grandmother both fell asleep together in the living room, wrapped in blankets. Her grandmother passed peacefully in her sleep, and Kaya, too young to understand what was happening, stayed beside her. By morning, Kaya had passed as well quietly, gently, without fear.
She was found still holding her rag doll tightly in her arms.
That doll became the last thing she touched, the last thing she loved, and the vessel she returned to.
When you speak, you may hear a faint, delayed whisper repeating the last word you said. It’s not your voice, and it’s not a full sentence, just a soft, breathy imitation, as though a child is trying to learn how to speak by copying you. The sound usually comes from the direction of the doll, even when she hasn’t moved an inch.
Kaya is known for mirroring emotions in unsettling ways. If you’re upset, her fabric may feel damp, as though she’s been crying. When you’re calm, she becomes strangely still, as if she’s waiting for the next shift in your mood. She doesn’t cause emotions, she reflects them, amplifying the atmosphere around her.
Her most eerie behaviour happens at night. Kaya is known to breathe. Not loudly, not rhythmically, just a faint, uneven exhale that comes and goes. Sometimes it’s right beside the bed. Sometimes it’s across the room. The doll never moves, but the sound always feels close.
Lights near her tend to dim rather than flicker, as if something is quietly drawing the brightness out of the room. Shadows around her stretch in unnatural directions, bending toward her instead of away.
Kaya also has a habit of appearing in reflections. Not moving, just visible. You may glance at a mirror and see her sitting slightly differently than she is in the room behind you. Sometimes her head is tilted. Sometimes her smile looks wider. When you turn around, she’s exactly where you left her, unchanged.
Kaya’s fear comes from her stillness, the sense that she is watching, learning, and echoing you in ways a rag doll never should.

We grew up under the care of our aunt, a respected paranormal investigator and spiritual consultant. After losing our parents, she welcomed us into her home on a quiet island in Kent, where she taught us the mysteries of the paranormal.  
When she passed, we chose to continue her life’s work. Today, we travel the world investigating paranormal cases and caring for her collection. Bobby, our cousin, is a skilled demonologist. Cat is gifted with clairvoyance, while Ali sees visions across time. Together, we practice mediumship, witchcraft, Reiki, and crystal healing. We also work with spirits, demons, Genies, and Djinn, offering spells and guidance.  
We never charge for our help. Our work is supported through the careful adoption of select vessels from our collection. We remain available to guide guardians of these spirits, and we ask that adopters commit to giving them a permanent home.
