This little guy is Oliver
He is a Demonic entity who will be missed. Oliver has been part of our aunts collection.
Oliver was removed from a London home many decades ago. Purchased by a woman who couldn’t have children. She desperately wanted a child. She bought this baby doll and decided to try to conjure a spirit of a child using an ouija board. What she conjured was no child. It was a demonic entity that took hold of her house in the disguise of a child.
Over time, neighbours reported hearing soft knocking from her walls at impossible hours, followed by the sound of tiny feet running across the ceiling. Lights would flicker whenever the doll was moved, and cold spots would bloom in the middle of summer.
The entity would show itself as a child and even snuggle with the woman in bed. When she left for too long the house would be thrown upside down and he would refuse to talk to her. She would get marks bad dreams and would see a dark shadow forming around the doll.
She also began waking to the sound of a child humming in the hallway, even though she lived alone. Objects would slide across the floor in front of her, and sometimes she’d hear her own name whispered from inside the wardrobe. Mirrors fogged from the inside, and small handprints appeared on them despite the room being cold.
Our aunt helped her and removed the doll. We have still had activity over the years but we don’t give the demon permission to be as personal with us as he was with the lady who unknowingly conjured him.
The doll moves, smells strange, odd voices often come from it, whispers and hands are known to touch you. The shadow still forms around the doll.
Oliver is the name the lady was given on the ouija board. It’s the only name the demon responds to.
Even now, the air around him sometimes vibrates like someone is speaking just out of earshot. Footsteps pace outside closed doors, and the temperature drops sharply whenever he’s displeased. Occasionally, the sound of a child laughing echoes from empty rooms, and the faint impression of a small figure can be seen standing behind him in photographs a shape that wasn’t there when the picture was taken.
