They called her Petal. Given in 1947 to a grieving mother whose daughter drowned in a garden pond, Petal was meant to be a comfort, but something else took root. The doll was buried with the child, then mysteriously unearthed decades later during a renovation. Since then, every home she’s entered has suffered.
Lights flicker when she’s moved. Children speak to her in whispers, claiming she answers. One boy said she “sang under the floorboards” at night. Pets try to get into the room she’s in. A woman who tried to sell her woke up with red thread in her fingers.
The DVDs behind her rearrange themselves, always spelling MALKOF in spine letters, a name no one recognizes.
Sometimes, people report a faint smell of pond water when she’s nearby cold, green, and wrong. Wallpaper bubbles behind her as if damp hands are pressing from the inside. Mirrors fog when she’s carried past them, and in the condensation, small fingerprints appear, too tiny to belong to anyone living.
Recently Cat & Ali swore that Petal’s shadow didn’t match her shape. It stretched longer, thinner, as though someone else was standing where she sat.
And then there are the knocks. Three soft taps from inside cupboards. From under beds. From the back of wardrobes. Always three. Always when the house is quiet.
Petal doesn’t cry. She waits. And when you sleep, she watches with eyes that were never meant to blink though some swear they’ve seen her lashes tremble.

🌙 Who We Are
We grew up under the care of our aunt, a respected paranormal investigator and spiritual consultant. After losing our parents, she welcomed us into her home on a quiet island in Kent, where she taught us the mysteries of the paranormal.
When she passed, we chose to continue her life’s work. Today, we travel the world investigating paranormal cases and caring for her collection. Bobby, our cousin, is a skilled demonologist. Cat is gifted with clairvoyance, while Ali sees visions across time. Together, we practice mediumship, witchcraft, Reiki, and crystal healing. We also work with spirits, demons, Genies, and Djinn, offering spells and guidance.
We never charge for our help. Our work is supported through the careful adoption of select vessels from our collection. We remain available to guide guardians of these spirits, and we ask that adopters commit to giving them a permanent home.
