The Dybbuk in the Sand. The Spirit Called Maryn.
The desert around the pyramids is full of secrets, but none as dangerous as the one the workers uncovered after a violent sandstorm. When the winds died, the dunes had shifted, revealing something half‑buried near the base of a limestone outcrop, an old box, its surface marked and scratched, nailed shut . It wasn’t part of a tomb, nor a marked burial. It had simply been buried in the sand, as if someone had tried to hide it far from human hands.
The box pulsed faintly when brushed free of sand. One worker said it felt like a heartbeat. Another swore he heard whispering coming from inside, even though the box was sealed. The desert heat should have made it scorching, but it was warm in a way that felt alive.
They lifted it.
That was their first mistake.
The moment the box left the sand, the air changed. The wind stopped. The sky dimmed. The workers tried opening to the box in many ways but it seemed to want to stay shut and then it just gave way and opened. A long, thin wail escaped, a sound that didn’t belong to anything living. The sand trembled beneath their feet. Shadows stretched unnaturally long across the dunes.
The doll that was inside looked at them with its old cracked eyes. They knew they had just allowed something dark out. Something ancient had been released.
The Dybbuk inside called itself Maryn.
Not in words, in impressions, in thoughts that slither across the mind. Maryn had been bound by priests who feared what it had become. It wasn’t a human spirit. It was a parasite of the soul, a devourer of memory, a creature that fed on fear and breath.
Maryn shows itself as a tall, distorted silhouette with limbs too long and a face that shifts like smoke. Its eyes glow faintly white. Wherever it moves, the air grows colder, and frost forms even in the desert heat. Those who see it say it leaves trails of ash behind, as though its presence burns reality itself.
Its powers are possession, mimicry, and hunger. Maryn slips into dreams first, whispering in a voice that sounds like someone you once loved. Then it moves objects, drags its fingers along walls, and appears in reflections where it shouldn’t be. It feeds on fear, growing stronger each time someone acknowledges it. And once it chooses a host, it clings like a shadow that can’t be shaken.
It is attached to both the box and the doll. Neither can be separated from each other and must stay together.
The archaeologists tried to flee.
One, who believed this was a Dybbuk called our aunt immediately and she flew to claim the Dybbuk.
Our aunt claimed Maryn appeared at the foot of her bed each night, its head tilted, its mouth stretching wider each time. She said it whispered her name in a voice that was sinister. She said it wanted to be remembered. Wanted to be seen. Wanted to known.
To calm the Dybbuk spirit we have used ancient symbols around its vessel.
If you place the doll within the box you may hear banging, whispers and hear the doll scratching from inside the box.
This is a very ancient and evil spirit. We do not suggest communicating with it or goading it in any way.
We take no responsibility for this vessel once its left us but we do always offer aftercare.
We have noticed that the spirit listens to your fears and will act upon them, the more fear you have, the stronger it becomes!
Australia please select Extra Shipping – Large Doll.

🌙 Who We Are
We grew up under the care of our aunt, a respected paranormal investigator and spiritual consultant. After losing our parents, she welcomed us into her home on a quiet island in Kent, where she taught us the mysteries of the paranormal.
When she passed, we chose to continue her life’s work. Today, we travel the world investigating paranormal cases and caring for her collection. Bobby, our cousin, is a skilled demonologist. Cat is gifted with clairvoyance, while Ali sees visions across time. Together, we practice mediumship, witchcraft, Reiki, and crystal healing. We also work with spirits, demons, Genies, and Djinn, offering spells and guidance.
We never charge for our help. Our work is supported through the careful adoption of select vessels from our collection. We remain available to guide guardians of these spirits, and we ask that adopters commit to giving them a permanent home.
Disclaimer: Our experiences are personal and may differ from yours. We cannot take responsibility for any paranormal activity that may occur after adoption.
We have appeared in many tiktok channels, YouTube channels aswell as the amazing cosmopolitan uk and a brand new book by Fiona Dodwell. We are the real deal!
