Vix - The Crow Witch Guardian
Vix is an animal‑shifting witch spirit, bound to both shadow and feather. In her human form, she appears as a white shadow figure, moving gracefully through each room of the home. She casts protective spells in every corner, weaving wards that shield her keeper and their household. In her crow form, she manifests as a large black crow, circling overhead with piercing eyes. When danger approaches, she calls upon other crows to swoop down and drive enemies away.
Vix lived during a time when witches were both feared and revered. She was known in her village as a solitary enchantress who communed with animals, especially crows, which she considered her sacred kin. She cared for the vulnerable, protecting homes with her spells and guiding travelers with her uncanny foresight. Her reputation as a guardian witch spread far, and she was sought out for her spells.
Her death came at the hands of those who feared her power. Accused of witchcraft, she was hunted and cornered. In her final moments, she called upon her crow kin to shield her, but her body was struck down. Her spirit, however, refused to fade. Instead, it bound itself to the crow form and the shadow figure, ensuring her protective magic would live on eternally.
She moves through rooms, casting wards that repel negativity and danger.
Outside, she manifests as a black crow, summoning others to defend her keeper.
Indoors, her white shadow form brings calm and reassurance.
Her loyalty is fierce, her protection unyielding, and her bond eternal.
